1. Privacy Policy

1.1. Data Collection and Use

The Extension operates primarily in your local browser.

• Profile and Job Data: The Extension reads the content of the open LinkedIn page (user profile or job description) only when you click the action buttons ("Analyze", "Scan", etc.). This data is temporarily sent to the Google Gemini API for AI processing and is not stored on our servers.
• API Keys: If you provide your own Google Gemini API key, it is stored locally in your browser (`chrome.storage.sync`) and used only to make requests on your behalf.
• LinkedIn Authentication: For advanced features, we use LinkedIn OAuth. We store only basic profile information (name, photo, email) locally in the browser to personalize the experience.
• Account Information: To manage Premium subscriptions, we generate an anonymous identifier (`userId`) that is stored in your browser. Only your subscription status (Active/Inactive) is verified on our servers.

1.2. Data Storage

• Local: Analysis results, drafts, and settings are saved in your browser's local storage (`chrome.storage.local`) to improve performance.
• Remote: We do not maintain a database with your personal data, browsing history, or profile content.

1.3. Sharing with Third Parties

• Google Gemini (AI): Text extracted from LinkedIn is sent to the Google Gemini API to generate analyses. See Google's Privacy Policy for more details.
• Asaas (Payments): We process payments through Asaas. We do not have access to your credit card data. See Asaas's Privacy Policy.
• LinkedIn OAuth: We use LinkedIn OAuth authentication. See LinkedIn's Privacy Policy.

2. Terms of Use

By installing and using JobMatch, you agree to the following terms:

2.1. Acceptable Use

• The Extension is intended to assist in profile and application optimization.
• You are responsible for reviewing all content generated by AI before publishing or sending. AI can make errors ("hallucinations").
• Automation use must respect LinkedIn's Terms of Service. The Extension does not perform massive automations (mass bots/scrapers), acting only on the active page under user command.

2.2. Plans and Payments

• Free Plan: Limited to 5 uses (analyses) per week (10 if logged in).
• Premium Plan: Unlimited access via subscription (Monthly or Annual).
• Cancellation can be made at any time through the Asaas management portal.

2.3. Disclaimer

• The Extension is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that using the tool will result in employment, interviews, or increased visibility.
• We are not affiliated, associated, or endorsed by LinkedIn Corporation.

2.4. Intellectual Property

• The Extension's source code, design, and features are the exclusive property of the developers. Unauthorized reverse engineering, copying, or redistribution is prohibited.

2.5. Changes

• We reserve the right to update these terms and the privacy policy at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication of the update in the Chrome Web Store.
